Electronic Waste Recycling Fee Rates

The electronic waste recycling fee is collected on the sales of video display devices (called "covered electronic devices" or CEDs).

The fee ranges from $6.00 to $10.00 per CED sale. It is based upon the viewable size of the video display, measured diagonally. The fee rate is set consistent with Public Resources Code Section 42464.
